Scales License
If you use any type of scale during the gem show, all scales must be approved & licensed by the State of Arizona. To obtain the license form and a partial list of Arizona approved scales go to:

All scales must be approved & licensed or they can be CONFISCATED!!
If you have any questions about your scales you may contact the Arizona Department of Weights and Measures directly at 800-277-6675 Ext. 9937 or 602-255-5211 or you can email Dennis Ehrhart at dehrhart@azdwm.gov. Please be patient if you do not hear back from them right away. There are only a small number of inspectors for the entire state of Arizona.
